Another positive step for Ukraine’s agricultural recovery! Following our selection for the UNIDO project in April, we have now been chosen as a grant recipient for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan’s “Emergency Support Project for Agricultural Recovery in Ukraine”. This significantly strengthens our commitment to supporting Ukraine’s agricultural recovery.
The “Ukraine Next-Generation Greenhouse Horticulture Model Construction Project” aims to verify the feasibility of a “sustainable greenhouse horticulture model for fruiting vegetables” in the Lviv region of Western Ukraine. This model combines IoT sensing, AI-driven environmental control, and eco-friendly heating technologies such as heat pumps. Our goal is not only to enable stable supply even during harsh winters but also to achieve both environmental considerations and agriculture that bridges to the next generation. Furthermore, key Ukrainian personnel will be invited to Japan, providing opportunities to serve as a bridge for their exchange and collaboration with Japanese engineers and researchers. This initiative aims to foster the development of core human resources crucial for the widespread adoption of this model.
Through these two projects, we aim to contribute more comprehensively to Ukraine’s sustainable agricultural recovery.
